Paulus Weidner von Billerburg, actually Asher Judah ben Nathan Ashkenazi (1525 in Udine - 1585 in Vienna), was a Jewish convert, doctor and rector of the University of Vienna. - First 8 pages of the first book (title and dedication) missing (were not bound). The margins (parts of margins) of the first 50 leaves (already at the time of bookbinding) added (partly added; without a loss of text). Cracks on the first leaf, as well as on the last two leaves repaired. - Rare!
