With decorative ornamental cartouche (blank), a wind rose, many decorations (figures, animals, ships ...) on the map and German title on verso. 28:19,5 cm (11 x 7 3/4 inch.).

A  decorative map of Sri Lanka (Ceylon), an island in South Asia, located southeast of India and northeast of the Maldives. - From de Bry's Orientalische Indien (Kleine Reisen - German ed. of his Petit Voyages). - Johann Theodor de Bry (1561-1623) was an engraver and publisher.
