Mucha created this poster in 1912 for an exhibition that was scheduled to open to the public in 1913 in his hometown of Ivančice. The poster depicts two Moravian girls in traditional folk costumes and swallows circling above the tower of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Ivančice. The exhibition ultimately did not take place, but the poster at least served as a tribute to Mucha’s hometown. - Small brown spots on the left edge of the paper, otherwise in very good condition. - Price includes frame (103 : 69 cm).
