See British Museum collections, inventory number 1868.0808.8294: A fat and clumsy Englishman is being hoisted on to a horse by mechanical appliances worked by three French stable-boys who are much smaller in scale. He faces the spectator with his back to the horse, his fingers resting on the passive animal's back. He is slung from two pulleys, the rope being attached to bands round his vast arms; a man hauls hard at each. The third man winds a handle which pushes upwards a jack supporting his right leg. - Price includes the frame (44:36,5 cm).
