Binding on the spine cracked, paper cover worn. Woodblock bookplate of a private library ('H. am Zehnhoff') glued to the front pastedown, and on the reverse side of the front flyleaf there a handwritten bookplate of the same library. A copperplate portrait of Comenius (engraved by J. Balzer after a drawing by J. Kleinhard) pasted to the front flyleaf (as a frontispiece). Old library stamp on the title page. Last page missing. Slightly browned throughout, spotted in places.
