Rare first edition of the first English anatomy to accept William Harvey's (1578 in Folkestone - 1657 in Roehampton; English physician known for his elucidation of blood circulation in the human bodytheory of blood circulation). - Binding slightly soiled, cloth buckles as well as additional engraved title missing. Old signatures of a private library and a handwritten ex-libris "N. Franchimont" (Nicolas Franchimont von Frankenfeld, 1611 in Liège - 1684 in Prague, was a Walloon doctor, university lecturer and writer who was active in the Bohemian countries) on the title page.
