Folio (50:35,5 cm). Chromolithograph title page and dedication page to the Honorable Charles R. Crane, former US Ambassador to China, in honor of his protection of Turkish decorative arts, 12 pages of illustrated text, 60 color plates (chromolithographs - some double-page) of portals, windows, iron work, facades, etc. of minarets, mausoleums and mosques. A portfolio of loose leaves in original illustrated (Turkish ornaments) half-cloth boards with original paper cover and original cardboard slipcase.
Cloth spine top right cracked, paper dustjacket with tears, as well as cardboard sleeve. Inside clean and very well preserved.
