Nicolas de Byart was a French Catholic clergyman, monk, member of the Franciscan or Dominican Order, compiler and author. Active in Paris around 1250. - Old tiny library stamp on the fron flyleaf, old handwritten exlibris (bookplates) in pen on title. Upper corners of leaves CC and CCI torn off and restored with old paper (verso affecting the beginning of the first seven lines). One third to half of the margins of the last 10 leaves also torn off and restored.
