Second edition of the anonymously published work depicting numerous flag bearers of different German municipalities and their coats of arms. With large woodcut coat of arms on title, many woodcut illustrations (mostly fullpage), most of them signed with monogram "IK" which is now assumed to refer to Jacob Kallenberg (and not to the author Jacob Köbel); many of them with town views in the background. - 13 leaves of illustrations (leaf O1 - 'Rottenburgk am Necker' on recto and 'Landtshut' on verso; sections T 1-4, U 1-4, X 1-4 = fullpage woodcuts without the titles) and 4 leaves (section A 1-4) of text are missing (were not inbound). Title page professionaly restored (without a loss of text), otherwise well preserved.
