A map of the World in Mercator projection surrounded by the clouds with decorative title-cartouche, another cartouche with Latin text and the date of creation of the map - 1574, a ship in the map, and miniature map of America ("Americae siue noui orbis noua descriptio", 8:11 cm) on the verso. 16:22 cm (6 1/4 x 8 3/4 inch.).
