With coloured title-cartouche, a cartouche with inscription and a coat-of-arms, the scale of map and 4 sailing ships. 41:50 cm (16 1/4 x 29 3/4 inch.).

Koeman II, map 8410:2A, ed. 2:101 (1635 Latin) - This map by Willem Blaeu gives the standard mapping of the region prior to 1655. Shows the Great Wall but much of it distorted based on incorrect initial reports by Jesuits. Korea is depicted as an island. This map was based on one first issued by Abraham Ortelius in his atlas, "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum" in 1584.
