Osnabrück."Osnabrugensis Episcopatus". Orig. old coloured copper-engraving from J. Blaeu's Atlas Mayor, 1662. With great title-cartouche with the view of the city of Osnabrück after Braun & Hogenberg ("Osenbrugge", 5,5:17 cm) and a figure, an ornamental cartouche with inset map of "Districtvs Reckenbergensis" (8,5:7,5 cm), a cartouche with the scale of map, a cartouche with inscription, a cartouche with coat-of-arms and 7 local coats-of-arms. 37,5:49 cm (14 3/4 x 19 1/4 inch.).

Koeman II, map 2340:2, ed. 2:601 (1662ff. Latin). - A very decorative map of bishopric Osnabrück. From the luxurious Spanish edition of Atlas Maior - colouring is hightened with gold.
