Aurich. "Aurick". Orig. copperplate engraving from "Der Sächsische Postillon", Löbau, 1801. A panoramic view of Aurich, a town in the East Frisien region of Lower Saxony, Germany. With title cartouche with a coat of ars, a cartouche with portrait ('Carolus Simplex' - Charles the Simple, i.e. Charles III, 879-929, the king of West Francia and later the king of Lotharingia) and explanatory notes under the picture. 19:30 cm (7 1/2 x 11 3/4 inch.).

From scarce monthly newspaper published in Löbau (Saxony), and bringing news from all over Europe. Relevant issue of the magazine attached.
