(German edition of his Cosmographia). Published in Basle by H. Petri, 1564. With German title above the map and a ship. 25,5:34 cm (10 x 13 1/2 inch.).

 Münster's modern map of Europe. Oriented to the south. - Maps printed in Germany in the 16th century for the use of travelers were often oriented to the south in order to be used in conjunction with a solar compass.
