Trachtenbuch darin fast allerley und der furnembsten Nationen die heutigs tags bekandt sein". Published by H. Weigel in Nuremberg, 1577. Magnificent old colouring. 29:17 cm (11 1/2 x 6 3/4 inch.).

A dress of councilors and noble men of Leipzig in the 16th century. - Rare. - Jost Amman (1539 in Zürich - 1591 in Nürnberg) was a Swiss-German artist, celebrated chiefly for his woodcuts, done mainly for book illustrations.
