Leipzig: Weidmannischen Buchladen, 1736. First German ed. Gr.-8vo. (14), 358 pp. with 1 copper-engraving in text and 30 (instead of 32) copperplates (some of them old coloured). Orig. leather binding from the time with title label on the spine.
Lacking engraved frontispiece (portrait of the author) and 2 engraved plates. - Raimondo, Count of Montecucculi was an Italian military commander who also served as general for the Habsburg Monarchy, and was also a prince of the Holy Roman Empire and Neapolitan Duke of Melfi.
