Tata. "Dotis Ungaris Thata Arx, Inferioris Ungariae, loci oportunitate, et opere munitissima". Orig. copper-engraving after G. Hoefnagel from the 6th part of Latin ed. of Braun and Hogenberg's "Civitates Orbis Terrarum". Published 1617/18. With title at the top, ornamental title-cartouche and several figures in the foreground. 32,5:44,5 cm (12 3/4 x 17 1/2 inch.).

Koeman IV, map 4264, ed. 41:1-3 (1617/18 B&H 6). - A birds-eye-view of the castle of Tata in homonymous town in Komarom-Esztergom county, northwestern Hungary. - This view is from the sixth and last volume of Civitates Orbis Terrarum, published in a much smaller edition than previous volumes, and it is therefore rarer than most of Braun & Hogenberg city views.
