"Delineatio Freti Vaigats". Orig. copper-engraving, P. Bertius, 1616. Published by J. Blaeu in Amsterdam, 1637. With ornamental title-cartouche, another ornamental cartouche with the scale of map ("Scala milliariu German."), a ship, a whale and a wind-rose. 9,5:13,5 cm (3 3/4 x 5 1/4 inch.).

Koeman III, map 1274:342, ed. 342:21 (1637 Atlas Minor). - A miniature map of the Yugorsky Strait, that separates the Vaygach Island from the Yugorsky Peninsula in the mainland. - Vaygach Island is a Russian island in the Arctic Sea between the Pechora Sea and the Kara Sea. - Lower right corner of the paper (outside of the printed area) slightly soiled.
