Published in Frankfurt am Main by Merian's Heirs, 1655. A map of the world in two hemispheres with portraits of W. C. Schouten and F. Magellan at the top and 4 ornamental cartouchech with portraits of F. Drake, T. Candish (Cavendish), O. van Noort and G. van Spilbergen by the sides. 17:19 cm (6 3/4 x 7 1/2 inch.).
A double hemisphere map of the world describes the Willem Cornelis Schouten's voyage around the world in 1615-17. - Whole book page. - On the left side cutted ca. 2 mm to the desk.
