With decorative title-cartouche, ornamental cartouche with the scale of map ("Milliaria Anglica ...") and 3 cherubs, 5 ships, royal and English coats of arms and a cartouche with 8 family coats of arms (including 1 blank shield). 42:53 cm (16 1/2 x 21 inch.).
Koeman II, map 5285:2, ed. 2:331 (1645-48 German). - A very decorative map of Essex, a ceremonial and non-metropolitan county in the East of England. With the city of London in lower left corner of the map.
