Homan. 1755". Orig. copper-engraving after Gianbattista Nolli's plan of Rome, which was a derivate of Leonardo Bufalino's plan from 1551. Published by Homann's Heirs in Nurnberg, 1755. Orig. old colouring. With ornamental title-cartouche with a coat-of-arms, 2 views of ancient Roman buildings and explanatory by the sides ("Index", 1-307). 4 sheets (54,5:62,5 cm each), not joined. 72:96 cm (28 1/2 x 37 3/4 inch.; the engraving).

A rare and greatly enlargerd 4 sheet version of the Bufalino/Nolli map.
