With engraved title upper left and many figures in the foreground. 31,5:43,5 cm (12 1/2 x 17 1/4 inch.).

Koeman IV, map 3872, ed. 41:1 (1617/18 B&H 6). - A view of Šariš castle and the town below it. Veľký Šariš (Hungarian: Nagysáros) is a small town near Prešov in eastern Slovakia. - This view comes from the sixth and last volume of Civitates Orbis Terrarum ("Theatri Praecipuarum Totius Mundi Urbivm Liber Sextus"), published in a much smaller edition than previous volumes, and it is therefore rarer than most of Braun & Hogenberg city views.
