With great figural title cartouche, depiction of Milky Way and constellations of Northern and Southern Skies, 4 wind-roses, a cartouche with depiction of the sizes of stars ("Magnitudines Stellarum") and 7 inset charts (5 of them with title cartouches: "Illuminatio Lunae per Solem", "Hypothesis Tychonica", "Hypothesis Copernicana", "Hypothesis Ptolemaica", "Schema Ph. Lansbergii. Motus Terrae annuus circa Solem"). 50:58 cm (19 3/4 x 22 3/4 inch.).

A very decorative map of the Northern and Southern Skies in 2 circles. The inset maps show the monthly orbit and illumination of the moon, day and night on the earth with quotations from Genesis, five additional diagrams at the bottom represent the monthly orbit and illumination of the moon, the different planetary hypotheses of Tycho Brahe, Corpernicus, Ptolemy, and the annual orbit of the sun and the seasons.
