Rare! - Cantelli’s map of Styria, Carniola and Carinthia shows all of Istria, upper part of the Adriatic Sea, the western part of Croatia and the northern part of Dalmatia. - Giacomo Cantelli da Vignola (1643-1695), one of the most important Italian cartographers of the 17th century. After he finished his studies in Bologna, he left for Paris where he collaborated with the greatest French cartographers - Sanson, Du Val and Baudrand.
