Saint John Chrysostom was an important Early Church Farther who served as archbishop of Caonstantinople. He is known for his preaching and public speaking, his denunciation of abuse of authority by both ecclesiastical and political leaders, and his ascetic sensibilities. - Theodore of Mopsuestia (ca. 350 – 428) was a Christian theologian, and Bishop of Mopsuestia (as Theodore II) from 392 to 428 AD. He is also known as Theodore of Antioch, from the place of his birth and presbyterate. He is the best known representative of the middle Schol of Antioch of hermeneutics. - With sligt water-stain on the first ca. 20 pages, otherwise well preserved.
