V. d. Broecke 144; Koeman III, map 7640:31, ed. 31:031 (1584 Latin). - A decorative map of Illyricum, former Roman province. It stretched from the Drin river in modern Albania to Istria (Slovenia/Croatia) in the north and the Sava river (Bosnia/Croatia) in the east. Its capital was located at Salonae near modern Split in Croatia. - A very nice copy in beautiful old colouring. -  János Zsámboky or János Zsámboki or János Sámboki (with his humanist name Latin: Johannes Sambucus, 1 June 1531 – 13 June 1584) was a Hungarian humanist scholar: physician, philologist, historian and cartographer.
