A rare map (birds-eye-view) of an island (Guam) in the Ladrones (Marianas) Islands. Guam is an unincorporated and organized territory of the United States in Micronesia in the western Pacific Ocean. - Whole book sheet. With another engraving with depiction of indigenous peoples ("Les Habitans de Lysle de la Drones") on verso. - Olivier van Noort (1558-1627) was the first Dutchman to circumnavigate the world.
