Pietro da Cortona, eigentlich Pietro Berrettini (1596 in Cortona - 1669 in Rom), war ein bedeutender Maler, Zeichner und Architekt (sowie Anatom) und neben Gian Lorenzo Bernini und Francesco Borromini einer der drei großen Protagonisten des römischen Hochbarock.
