With engraved title in lower right corner, Latin lettering above the map ('Iustitia et Pietate') and a list of regions of the Czech Kingdom ('Districtus' 1.-18.) in lower part of the desk. 39,1:26,3 cm.

A scarce allegorical map of Bohemia depicted as a stylised rose, showing Prague located at the centre, and Vienna, seat of the Hapsburg Dynasty, at the root. Published in the first book of Balbin's Epitome historica rerum Bohemicarum (Prague 1673-1677). - A tear in the left part (ca. 3 cm to the plate - not affecting the picture) restored.
